This post is dedicated to my 2 sweet little BRAT's!!! That's right, our kids are BRAT's and we're so very proud of them!!! Why call them BRAT's you ask? Well, the answer is very simple! Our kids have great manners, are very friendly and readly accept differences in people, even at the tender ages of 1 & 4. They have each lived in as many homes than they have had birthdays and have close friends & family in places like New Jersey, New York, Illinois, Texas, Kentucky, Virginia, Kansas & Canberra, Australia. My big girl knows what Iraq is and understands that soldiers are the BEST! They enjoy snuggling up to camoflage anything and even my sweet baby of 22 months knows the flag and puts her little hand over her heart! They are BOLD RESPONSIBLE ADAPTIVE & TOLERANT - Army B.R.A.T. 's!The rest of this blog will showcase pictures highlighting the very best of our kid's experiences in our Army Life. Lily is not well represented, but I'm sure our next assignment will fix that. Please enjoy.
Children live this life everyday. They are faced with challenges, fears, excitement, adventure, joy and tears. Please pray for our military kids and remember that each member of a military family makes a sacrifice. Our kids are no exception. http://www.monthofthemilitarychild.com/ is a great website that we're using this month to talk to our kids about what it means for them to be a soldier's child. It's a special privilege - we hope as they get older they will embrace it even more!
