Being in the Army, we have made lots of great friends! Usually, our great friends are naturally brought about by being a part of a Unit. Those friends are so dear and we miss our Army Family every day of our lives!!
When we got here to Virginia, having no "real " unit, making friends proved a little bit of a challenge. The summer of 2007, we moped around kind of wondering what in the world we were supposed to do next. Well, when Grace Bible Church came our way, we found our new "Unit"! We thought you would enjoy a few pictures of our incredible friends here in No. VA - these friends are not only our friends, but also brothers and sisters in Christ, a gift well worth the wait!!!
I also wanted to take a little time to share with you all about a special part of our life - our Home Group. At our church, we meet on Sunday evenings in a small group (Home Group), we break bread together, have a short bible lesson ( we call Discovery Time) for the little ones and then study the Bible together - it's fellowship, fun and a true blessing for our family. Our Home Group has become like a second family to us and we can't imagine life without them!!! So here's a shout out to Ryan, Lacey, Dan, Marge, Donald, Tammy, Bill, Martina, Abigail, Elizabeth, James and Silas!!! Sundays will never be the same without you!!! Not everyone is pictured, but we wanted to at least show off Emma and Lily's buddies for ya!! ENJOY!!

Martina "Nana" Milne - can never have too many Nana's

Has been so hectic around here that I am just now getting a chance to get caught up on all my blogging family members and was so very touched and blessed by your shout out to our Home Group. What you and John don't realize just yet is that the Moris family MADE our home group the special place that it is. I whole heartedly agree with you that Sunday evenings will just not be the same for us the next couple of years. I loved all the pictures and I love each one of your very much-Martina/Nana
